Because the character they display, is a character that’s possible to represent. It fits with reality, or your fantasy.

Well. Obviously on a sales call, you are acting. Outside of the sales call, if we’re being brutally honest with ourselves, we’re completely different.

But just like an actor, when you’re dealing with different types of prospects, you have to adjust your act, just like a chameleon.
