If you swing and miss, that’s fine.
But if you never swing at all, you deserve to burn in hell.
Most closers never grow.
They get good enough, and sustain being good enough—whilst fearing trial n’ error to experience growth.
You want to work for a company, or your own company if you have one, that allows you to try new shit.
If you’re not experiencing peaks and valleys in your closer experience, you’re doing something wrong.
That’s why going corporate is single handedly the worst decision you can make, if you want to take sales seriously.
You don’t get to let your freak flag fly—as you’re forced to follow a script a majority of the time.
If you want to work a job, where you don’t have to be creative—there are a ton of 9-5’s available for you.
But if you’d genuinely like to use most of your brain, to get the most out of your career—then sales is for you.
Don’t let sales turn into a job that’s mechanical. You want sales to be innovative.
